Speech Practice and Listening Comprehension
19 April
Today we talked about your free time and practised the Construction like, love, hate + Ving.
At home, please, learn the Keywords (pp. 57-58), and do pp. 48-49 (in Powerbook).
22 April
We talked about your favourite actors and movies, read short story and revised the rule. Moreover, we wrote a small test on like, love, hate + Ving.

26 April
Today we revised the grammar and vocabulary material and wrote the test. Then we worked with the cartoon "A Grand Day Out".
You did a great job, so there is no home assignment for you today!

Today we discussed your final exam and did Revision 5-6.

We started preparing for the exam. Today we worked with the topics "About yourself " and did some listening and reading comprehension tasks.
For the next lesson start preparing the exam topics "My best friend", "My typical day", "My way to school", "My hobby", "About myself", "About my parents", "My favourite place in Moscow", "Free time", "Reading in my life", "A person I admire" .

We continued talking about the parts of england and practised the Speech pattern What a/ What... for exclamations.

22 April
Today we practised the Exclamation speech patterns, read and translted the active vocabulary, acted out the dialogues.
At home, please, orally learn the words Ex. 12, 13 pp. 118-119; read and translate the dialogue Ex. 17 p. 121.
26 April
We worked with the active vocabulary, doing oral translations from Russian into English. We read out and dramatized the dialogue from Ex. 17.
Your homework is: Ex 18, 19 pp. 122-125. Prepare the text for control reading.
