This year we will work with the Textbook by Afanasyeva, Mikheeva for the VII grade. You'll also need an Activity book and the Reader.

Today we started the Revision Unit and talked a lot about Russia. We discussed the main information about our homeland, its traditions and symbols. Special "Thank you" I'd like to say to our future president Den Dubrovsky, who knows a lot about the political system of Russia :) 

At home, please,
- do Ex. 7 pp. 8-9 (Read and translate the text about famous Russians)
- choose one famous person, make his/her biographical description and present it, so that your group may guess who you are talking about!
- do Ex. 14 p. 13 (Make a speech about Moscow, not less than 15 sentences).

Thank you for your stories about famous Russians and the excursions of Red Square. I had a lot of pleasure!

Today we tried to write a Reproduction. For most of you it was the first time you wrote such a work. It was not bad, but we have a lot to work at.

Today we checked your home tasks and prepared the presentations of our school. Thanks for you "blackboard version" of the web-site and your pictures :)
